PIRTEK is a brand synonymous with V8 Supercars.
It was 15 years ago when the PIRTEK backed Stone Bros Racing Falcon of Jason Bright and Steven Richards crossed the line to win Australia’s greatest motor race; the Bathurst 1,000 and ten years ago Marcos Ambrose won his first V8 Supercars Championship in the PIRTEK Falcon.
This year has seen the introduction of the PIRTEK Enduro Cup for the three endurance races on the V8 Supercars calendar that require a Co-Driver.
These classic events are the Wilson Security Sandown 500 at Sandown, the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1,000 and the Armor All Gold Coast 600 street circuit race.
Queensland artist James Corbett was commissioned to create the Enduro Cup using pieces from the PIRTEK Fluid Transfer Solutions range. He has crafted them into what will be one of the most sought after prizes in V8 Supercars history.
The battle for this year’s PIRTEK Enduro Cup will be waged by Holden, Ford, Nissan and Mercedes-Benz (Erebus Motorsport) with Volvo joining the Championship in 2014.
Pirtek CEO Stephen Dutton said “We are delighted to partner V8 Supercars with the creation of the PIRTEK Enduro Cup, which rewards the best drivers, co-drivers and teams across the three classic endurance races.
“To be successful in these events you need to have confidence in the durability, reliability and quality of all team members and equipment.
“These qualities are the backbone of the Pirtek brand”
