We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer / Hydraulic Hose Technician to join our team and support our expanding operations.
Role Overview:
This is a dynamic, field-based position where no two days are the same. You’ll be out on-site supporting a wide range of customers, responding to breakdowns, replacing and installing hydraulic hoses, and keeping essential equipment operating at its best.
Working independently, you’ll travel throughout the region to diagnose and manage complex breakdowns, carry out hose replacements, and complete new installations across a variety of machinery. This role offers a great mix of autonomy, technical challenge, and hands-on problem-solving.
To be considered for the role you will:
• A background in engineering or mechanical trades
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in machinery repair and maintenance
• Experience in hydraulic hoses or field service work (preferred)
• The ability to work independently in a mobile role
• A practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• A current NZ Full Driver’s License
• Flexibility to work after-hours and participate in an on-call roster (including weekends)
A vehicle + competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicants based on Skills & Experience.
