We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mobile Service Technician to join our team at Pirtek Waikato and support our expanding operations.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Mobile Service Technician, you will take the lead in delivering consistent, accurate, and high-quality service to our customers. This hands-on role involves traveling to sites within the designated area to manage complex breakdowns, oversee hose replacements, and carry out new installation work on a wide range of machinery.
To be considered for the role you will:
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience as a hose technician or in a similar role. We encourage mechanics or engineers to apply.
- Be proficient in operating machinery, using tools, and measuring devices with precision.
- Demonstrate strong diagnostic skills and experience in repairs and maintenance of machinery.
- Possess excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, pride in workmanship, and a customer-first mindset.
- Be confident in problem-solving and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Be capable of working independently and leading within a team environment.
- Hold current NZ Full Driver’s License and be medically/physically fit.
- Be flexible with working hours, including availability for after-hours service and rostered weekends on call.
